A Peek Behind the Magic; Phantom Manor

by on Mar.22, 2011, under Syndicated from the Web

Welcome Foolish Mortals,

I have decided that in order to keep this blog running I will have to focus on Mansion news (and some of my opinions) rather than what is currently being done. Keep in mind, this is just a test run. Please feel free to leave a comment with your opinion on this (possible) change.

So without further delay this weeks post;

“Amusement Insider”, a website dedicated to major theme parks in both America and Europe, has added some very good quality backstage images of Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris. To keep some of the magic alive, the up-loader did some slight photoshopping (example below).

(Ghostly Floating Hand?)

Nevertheless, they are Very Rare and Fantastic images. LINK

In the World of Haunted Mansion Collectables, the Disney “Vinylmation” blog posted a picture of a concept for a new figure. Does this chap look familiar?

(Sketch done Casey Jones, the artist behind the NBC Vinylmation line).

No mention of a release date, but I will keep you all updated.

Disneyland has released the second stained glass HMH piece in it’s series. Named “not a Creature was Peaceful, it is made of Glass and resin, stands about 17” tall, and costs $124.95.

(Don’t you just love the Holidays?)

Walt Disney World has finally obtained some new Haunted Mansion Merchandise, but it is nothing groundbreaking.

Does this look familiar?

No? How about now:

Oh…. I knew I’ve seen that somewhere before.

Yes they did just re-use some old graphics, but considering the amount of HM merch at WDW right now, I am glad they did it.

There has been no recent news about the graveyard demolition and I doubt there will be for a few months.

That about wraps it up for today.
I hope you have enjoyed this new layout, but If you didn’t please leave a comment.

RIP,
Master Gracey
